We're turning to our community to help raise $30,000 to create our next big project, 'Antique Angel'.
Antique Angel is an immersive studio album and short film that explores the profound journey of self-discovery and the battle between humanity and technology. It combines elements of music, surrealist visuals, light, and theatre to create a sonic and visual experience that aims to inspire, shock, and guide audiences through an exploration of the 'true self' and the 'shadow’, celebrating the beauty and darkness within us all.
We have already recorded the whole album and filmed 1 of 7 videos to be made into the short film. All of this was paid with money from my own pocket. To make the next 6 videos we need $30k to cover the hard cost of a film production.
This is what the $30k will go towards... (I personally won’t be getting a cent)
Fairly paying the team for their many hours/days/weeks of work
Producers, DOP, VFX, Editors, Actors, Assistants
Feeding the crew
Six weekends of shooting with 15 mouths to feed
Securing high-quality equipment
Industry standard cameras, lenses, lighting, and costumes
Travel costs and accommodation
Petrol for multiple cars to and from locations around the Nelson Tasman region
Paying for DOC National Park filming permits
We’ll be filming in some of the most beautiful places in our country
Ensuring health and safety on location
We have to keep our people safe
I truly see this project as an extension of my heart and soul and I hope that it will connect us more deeply to ourselves and our communities in the spirit of love, openness, and fearless expression.
Furthermore, donors who support my project qualify for a 33% tax credit because ‘Boosted’ is run by a charitable trust. This Boosted crowdfunding campaign operates on an all-or-nothing basis, meaning that if I don’t reach my goal of $30,000 by the closing date, all donations will be returned to donors.
